'Tis the Season for Toy Shopping at Walmart

For as long as I can remember shopping, I have always purchased Christmas toys at Walmart. In high school, I remember shopping with friends to pick out toys for children impacted by a hurricane. As a first time parent, it was always the first placed I shopped for holiday goodies. Now as a seasoned mother of seven and an advocate for children in need, Walmart continues to be my go-to place for my own children and for those within my community who benefit from a few holiday blessings. Their everyday low prices make giving and gifting affordable.

Each year, we pick several names off the Salvation Army tree and my children pick out toys for those their own age. This year, we selected Tic Tac Tony, a game similar to connect four but appropriate for three-year-olds. With five daughters at home, my girls also selected the Barbie Food Truck for a friend in need. This modern day Barbie is her own boss, running her own business so it’s a message that this mother can stand behind!

For my own family, I purchased a Puppy Piano for my son as a way to spark musical creativity and imagination for under $20. His love of dinosaurs and Paw Patrol led me to the Paw Patrol Dino Rescue Motorized Vehicle. Combining two of his favorite animals in one toy was a no brainer!

Whether you’re shopping for your own family or one that could use an extra blessing this holiday season, shop Walmart for the best selection of holiday toys at prices that can be beat!
