Falling for Target's Tween Looks

Like MOTHER, like DAUGHTERS. As much as I look forward to my weekly Target trips, my tweens are now equally as excited. Although they still fill our cart with crafts and key chains for their backpacks, my girls now make a pit stop in Girls’ Clothing.  While the days of picking out their outfits are long gone, I have been pleasantly surprised to find that my children also appreciate a “casual glam” approach to fashion, age appropriate looks that we can always find at Target.

With the launch of Target’s new fall collection, my tweens have found styles that mimic my own appreciation for casual comfort. Moto leggings are my fall staple and Art Class by Target has designed a knit pair of $12.99 moto leggings that my daughters have already packed for an upcoming trip to New England. Offered in two colors with an adjustable waistband, these leggings can be paired with a variety of sweaters and jackets to create different looks each week.

Designed to celebrate uniqueness and individual style, my daughters two chose Art Class sweaters, for under $20, that showcase their personality. A bright orange V-neck sweater celebrates the season and is a perfect match for the olive moto leggings and beige combat boots. The soft, chenille pink sweater and quilted sneaker highlights the feminine strength of my three-sport athlete.

For more relaxed days, my tweens chose two dye tie jogger sets from Target’s More than Magic collection. On trend, the dip dyed purple and aqua cropped sweatshirt was paired with a ringer shirt for a layered look approved my pickiest of children. The hooded pink and purple sweatshirt was crafted without strings for a no -fuss design that any parent can appreciate. Following in my footsteps, my girls love elastic waistband joggers and these ones are made with an elastic cuff for a comfy fit that stays put.

Take advantage of Target’s fall styles with an extra 20% off family apparel from September 20 – 26, 2020. With so many stylish options for under $20, Target is a tween approved destination that parents can fall for!
